The “Yum Goong Sod” (
ยำกุ้งสด) is a Thai salad in which fried or grilled prawns are mixed with shallots and fresh herbs. The salad is
dressed with a mixture of lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar and chilis. Sometimes the salad can also be found at under the shorter name “yam gung”
(
ยำกุ้ง).
