Tam Ponlamai" (
ตำผลไม้) is a Thai salad made from a mixture of different fruits. The fruits are served with a spicy dressing made from
lime juice, fish sauce, palm sugar and chili powder. This salad combines sweet, sour and spicy flavors and is often garnished with peanuts or dried prawns. It
can also be found under the name “Som Tam Ponlamai” (
