The “Tam Khao Phot” (
ตำข้าวโพด) is a Thai salad prepared with sweetcorn and other vegetables such as cucumber, tomatoes or snake beans .
All ingredients are dressed with a mix of lime juice, fish sauce and palm sugar. Depending on the recipe, the salad is also called “Yum Khao Phot”
(
ยำข้าวโพด) or “Tam Thaeng Khao Phot” (
ตำแตงข้าวโพด), when cucumber is used in addition to the corn.
