“Prik Nam Som” ( พริกน้ำส้ม ) are larger, milder Thai chilies that are pickled in vinegar. This simple spicy sauce can be prepared with rice vinegar or other types of vinegar. Prik Nam Som is often used to round off the taste of noodle and rice dishes or soups. For example, a version with yellow chilies is particularly popular as a side dish to rad na dishes.
