Pad Horapa Moo Sap

Minced Pork with Thai Basil

“Pad Horapa Moo Sap” ( ผัดโหระพาหมูสับ ) is a stir-fry dish where minced pork and Thai basil are stir-fried together with a simple paste of garlic and Thai chilis. The whole dish is deglazed with a mixture of fish sauce and soy sauce and served with rice. The dish is sometimes called “Moo Sap Pad Horapa” ( หมูสับผัดโหระพา ) in a different word order. Like the better-known Pad Ga Prau Moo Sap, a fried egg goes perfectly with this dish.
