“Moo Sawan” (
หมูสวรรค์) is a Thai snack made from thinly sliced pork that is marinated in a sweet sauce made from palm sugar, soy sauce,
oyster sauce and spices such as cumin, coriander and white pepper. The meat is then dried and finally deep-fried. The name of this dish can be translated as
“heavenly pork”.
