“Moo Satay” (
หมูสะเต๊ะ) or “Sate Mhu” (
สะเต๊ะหมู) refers to grilled pork skewers. The meat is marinated in a
coconut milk marinade with turmeric and other spices before grilling. It is then threaded onto bamboo skewers and grilled over charcoal until juicy and slightly
charred. It is usually served with a peanut sauce and cucumber relish.
