Rice Porridge with Prawns

“Jok Goong” ( โจ๊กกุ้ง ) is a Thai rice porridge that achieves a creamy consistency through long cooking of broken or already cooked rice in broth. The broth is seasoned with garlic, coriander roots, pepper and fish sauce, while prawns are cooked in it. Fresh herbs, roasted garlic or shallots are added when serving.
