“Hor Mok Khanom Krok” (
ห่อหมกขนมครก) is the name of a southern Thai dish in which a curry made from pounded fish, curry paste,
coconut milk, egg and various spices is cooked in a khanom krok pan. The small, round indentations in the pan create small morsels, which are usually garnished
with finely chopped kaffir lime leaves and pieces of chili.
