Gai Khem

Chicken with Ginger and Soy Sauce

“Gai Khem” ( ไก่เค็ม ) is a wok dish traditionally prepared by Chinese-Thai people using leftover chicken that was sacrificed at celebrations such as Chinese New Year or the “Ching Ming Festival”. The meat is stir-fried with a paste made from garlic, ginger and pepper and deglazed with light and dark soy sauce.
