“Gaeng Som Goong” (
แกงส้มกุ้ง) is a sour and spicy Thai curry with prawns. The curry is prepared with a paste made from tamarind,
chilis, fingerroot and other ingredients. Usually various vegetables are cooked along with it, which can absorb the liquid well, such as lotus stems or taro
stems.
