“Gaeng Dok Khae Gai” ( แกงดอกแคไก่ ) is a curry, or rather a soup, from Northern Thailand that is prepared based on a paste made from chilis, garlic, shallots, galangal, lemon and shrimp paste. The filling consists of chicken, bamboo shoots and the blossoms of the turi tree (Dok Khae).
